39. Let Change Be a Catalyst For Change

October 27, 2021

This week our heroes discuss changes in the workplace. Change can be good or bad. Sometimes it can be traumatic. It's on us to embrace it when it comes and let change be a catalyst for the right kind of change.

Change usually comes when we least expect it. Sometimes it can be for the better, but often it’s disruptive, unsettling, or just plain terrifying. Even though we can’t always control the change that is happening around us, how we react to it is something we have full control over.

When change comes it’s important to take a step back, reflect on what’s really going on, and see how we might be able to benefit. Perhaps a coworker leaving will allow for space for your work to stand out more. Or maybe getting laid off could be a blessing in disguise.

This week, Derek and Jeremy discuss change in the workplace and how to take a potentially bad situation and show it who’s boss.
